Camo Clad Information

For those of us who bleed in forest green and extra grey, there's only one way to go........All IN.  A full Camoclad Truck is not only stunning when it's on the road, Camoclad trucks offer real utility and concealment in off-road situations.  But that's just the half of it.

CAMOCLAD ADDS PROTECTION

Camoclad's thick 3M material protects your vehicle's finish.  If you ever remove your Camoclad coverings, the paint underneath will be just as pristine as the day you installed your Camoclad.  In fact, an increasing number of Camoclad buyers are choosing to install this application on new vehicles with the specific intent of preserving the vehicle's finish.  This way you don't have to "baby" your new off-road 4WD truck, fearing you'll scratch it up while back in the sticks.  With Camoclad, you can actually use your truck to get you back where the real action happens.

RESALE VALUES

During it's years of service, Camoclad preserves your expensive vehicle by protecting it from chips, scratches, acid-rain, and sun fade. So for full-vehicle applications, Camoclad often returns it's entire cost later in the form of increased resale value on your vehicle.  So don't worry about the overhanging brush along that muddy 2-track access road.  Lock it in 4-Low and let 'er rip!  Camoclad has you covered!

REVITALIZE YOUR OLDER MODEL TRUCK

If your truck has already been thru some hard times, Camoclad can make you feel like you just bought it new again.  Camoclad totally conceals your existing paint, giving your truck a brand new exterior finish - one that's guaranteed to turn-heads anywhere you go.  So nobody will know or care about that big scratch you got a few years back.  With Camoclad, your truck looks custom-shop fresh from the moment you put it on.

HOW DOES IT GO ON?

Even though Camoclad is a heavy-duty Vinyl sheet, it essentially goes on by a simple peel, stick, and set method.  The back of the Camoclad covering features 3M's patented Pressure Activated Adhesive system, allowing Camoclad sheets to be easily positioned and repositioned during installation to get the perfect placement, without wrestling with premature adhesion.  Once you have the camo coverings where you want them, just use a squeegee to activate the secondary adhesive and your Camoclad is SET.  Watch the Application Tutorial Video for more details on the installation process.  Complete instructions are included with your kit as well.

DOES IT HAVE TO BE PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED?

No.  Your Camoclad installation requires no special tools.  All you'll need is a razor blade, a squeegee, a measuring tape, and a couple pairs of strong hands.  There are no bonding chemicals or special processes necessary.  With the help of a friend, a full truck job can be completed in just a weekend.  Read this consumer review on the application process.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED?

Camoclad is sold in "kits" which are already sized appropriately for the job (vehicle) you intend to cover.  For example, the Standard Truck Kit includes 240 sq. ft. of Camoclad concealment wrap, enough to cover just about any pickup on the road including: full size standard-cab pickups with long or short beds, 2 door Blazers and Tahoes, Dodge Durangos, Broncos, and 2 door Ford Explorers (just to name a few).  You can also get additional pieces separately if you plan to cover your camper shell, truck bed, dash board, or other extra surfaces.  Although every vehicle has a different total surface area, the kit allocations are typically quite generous.  When the job is complete, most customers report having some materials "left-over" to use elsewhere.
